Warm-Up Routine!
Develop a routine that sets off positive momentum. For instance – start the workday with 15 mins of meditation or breathing exercises, listening to upbeat music, or listening to positive affirmations
Prioritize!
Don’t get so drowned and bogged down that you fall into the “ Side-Blinders trap”. Prioritize and remove non-urgent tasks and saying “No”. That’ll allow you to focus your energy on what’s truly important.
Willpower Activate!
Create small habits and lower barriers that get in the way when starting a task. Before you know it, you’ve started a project, it feels less daunting and your motivation is activated to see your task through.
Emotional Check-In!
Your motivation can be depleted if you’re emotionally exhausted. A healthy way to repair that disconnect at the office is cultivate social opportunities in your workday. Have a light conversation a couple minutes before meetings building stronger rapport with colleges.
The 20 Second Rule!
Pausing for 20 seconds to smile, have gratitude or gather courage may not sound so exciting but, after that 20 seconds you’ll be ready to conquer your task.
Let’s Make a DEAL!
Feeling good after completing a stressful task is ok but, when you get a reward it’s even better. By giving yourself a healthy reward like a smoothie from your favorite shop, you’ve gained healthy motivation and sweet success after crossing the finish line!
