The key for any leader to foster a healthy culture is to have the buy in from employees to support this culture. Organizational leaders need to be the force behind cultivating the culture and must lead by example:

- Ensuring that organizational ethics are defined, understood and practiced.
- Enabling two-way communications where channels of communication are open.
- Defining roles, responsibilities and accountabilities.
- Providing continuous learning and training.
- Sustaining reward and recognition systems.
- Encouraging empowerment and teams.
- Recognizing and solving individual and organizational problems and issues.
So, in the end, the culture of an organization is the foundation, the glue that serves to bond leadership and employees together. Sharing the same values and operating with the same norms and goals will serve to motivate both parties towards a journey of success.
