Standing T Chest Stretch targets stretching the chest muscles and strengthening the shoulders and upper back.  Suitable for all levels, this exercise is a great way to strengthen, stretch, and improve posture.

  1. Stand with your arms outstretched in front, at shoulder height with palms up
  2. Breathe in as you bring your arms backward, keeping palms up
  3. Breathe out as you bring your arms back in front of you
  4. Move slowly and squeeze your shoulder blades together as your arms move backward
  5. Focus on posture, core stabilization, slow movements, and keep arms at shoulder height
  6. Only bring your arms as far back as is comfortable to your chest and back
