22 x 22 Push-up Challenge for Veterans

Submitted by loneil on Thu, 10/27/2022 - 16:24

In recognition of our Veterans, we want to shed light on a devastating issue about Veteran suicides, and how they are at  57% higher risk of suicide. By doing so, we're raising awareness by doing 22 push-ups for 22 days starting November 1st. We'd love for you to join us and take the pledge here: www.fittopass.com/22x22

Helpful Tips

Tips for a great push-up:

1. Get down on all fours, placing your hands slightly wider than your shoulders. Place shoulders over wrists.

2. Straighten your arms and legs. Push the ground away from you, and draw your naval to spine.

3. Lower your body until your chest nearly touches the floor. If you need a modification, place your knees on the ground.

4. Pause, then push yourself back up.

5. Repeat 22 times. If you need a rest between a few, go for it. Remember to breath and stay focused!
